All-Region Band
Clinic/Concert

Allen High School and The Lowery Freshman Center is proud to have 44 students who will participate in the All-Region Band Clinic and Concerts. This is such a wonderful opportunity for these students to work with a guest conductor for a day and a half, learn music most have not seen before then perform these arrangements on the final evening like they have been rehearsing for months! It still amazes me how talented our young people are. After all, they are only High School students! They are not my children but I am just as proud of them as if they were!

So, after all of my words above, I would like to invite you to attend at least one of the concerts this Friday evening or you could make a night of it by attending all of them as I will :-) ! Below you will find the concert schedule. Come out and support your AHS/LFC band members. I promise you an evening of wonderful music performed by our youth of today!

Rehearsals – HS @ McKinney North, 9th Grade @ Scott Johnson MS (directly across from McKinney North HS)
Thursday, Jan. 26th - 6:00-9:00 pm with Percussion reporting @ 5:00
Friday, Jan. 27th – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, break for lunch and 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm

Concert Schedule – McKinney North High School Auditorium
9th Grade Band – 5:30 pm warm-up & 6:00 pm performance
5A Concert Band – 6:15 pm warm-up & 6:45 pm performance
5A Symphonic Band – 7:45 pm warm-up & 8:15 pm performance
5A Wind Ensemble – 8:30 pm warm-up & 9:00 pm performance

Students should wear concert tux/dress with black shoes & socks (concert appropriate).
