The Carrollton Wind Symphony will be presenting their annual Holiday concert on Friday, December 18 at 7:30 PM at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Plano. This concert is free and open to the public and will be dedicated concert to Scott Rankin, an upstanding man who is not only a talented musician and educator, but a wonderful role model for anyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Scott was injured in a biking accident leaving him a quadriplegic with very little promise of recovery from the doctors. However, through his tremendous faith, determination, and hard work he is beginning to regain some movement in his arms and legs.
The road ahead will be long and hard as his wife and three small children work to make ends meet.
