DO: try on your uniform pants (both black and white) after you get them home to make sure they have been altered correctly. Don’t wait until five minutes before the first game.

DO: remember to wear black socks with your black shoes and pants or white socks with your white shoes and pants.

DO: transport your uniform in a garment bag at all times and your hat in the hat box.

DO: store your baldric inside your hatbox; turn it inside out and fold it into thirds. Please do not wad it up.

DO: wipe out your hatbox occasionally and store any personal items you are carrying in your hatbox in a Ziploc bag. This will help keep your hat clean.

DO NOT: store your uniform in the garment bag at home. This will cause it to mildew and get that "funny" smell. This smell will never leave the garment - ever.

DO NOT: ever store any part of your uniform wet.

DO: remember you are wearing white pants. Please pay attention to what you are wearing under them.

DO: take your uniform to the dry cleaners frequently- not just before UIL and at the end of the season. Your uniform and the people you sit by will thank you. It is okay to clean your uniform weekly and you may use any cleaners that you wish.

DO NOT: ever have your baldric dry cleaned-if it is soiled please ask for cleaning instructions.
