  • Mr. Lester takes care of our freshmen. Communication should also go through him…. He is good about repying!
  • Thank anyone that you see volunteering. A little gratitude goes a long way. Our volunteers are THE BEST.
  • Check the website every day…..you never know what may change overnight
  • Take your students band letter jacket to a seamstress to have the patches put on. The sleeves require a special needle to avoid ruining the material
  • You will hear many references to the "white box." There is a locking white box in both Lowery and AHS band halls. This is where your student should put any forms or paperwork whenever requested.
  • Anything can happen on a band outing. If you child calls home and says "our bus got hit by a swimming pool" Believe them! But it is a great life experience!
  • Start collecting patches for you child's senior letter jacket NOW.
  • Don't miss out on the "esca-experience", Get involved in some way, your own way, big or small
  • Wear some sort of "esca-shirt" proudly to all events, even to the grocery store! You will be surprised how many people will associate to our group!
  • Enjoy each moment the kids perform, go overboard: clap, sing, tap your foot, and yelling is encouraged OUR job…. The kids notice!.
  • This group of adults, as well as kids, are a great support system.  Just ask and you shall receive.
  • Make extra copies of all your child's music. Put their name on every page. Be prepared to buy another flip folder at any time.
  • If you did not order a band polo shirt to wear to games or events to show Escadrille Spirit, you can purchase additional Eagle shirts at A-Town Sports in Allen or other retail stores.
  • Volunter to work for the Pit Bulls!  They are the best.
  • Back into your parking space at the high school when picking up your child after any band function. It makes your departure easier and safer.
  • Do not block the lower two parking lots after events. This is where the buses pull in to unload the kids. There is a flow to exit… Be nice to the person helping with traffic flow!
  • Yes, your child needs to be at every game, practice or event.
  • Do not pull up into the "Perfoming Arts staff only" parking to drop off/pick up your child, especially on game or contest day. A big truck may run over your car.
